SVPC Hosts Orientation Programme on B.Com Sixth Semester Courses

St. Vincent Pallotti College in collaboration with the Bengaluru North University Teachers Council of Commerce & Management (BNUTCCM), organized a comprehensive Orientation Programme focusing on the B.Com Sixth Semester Courses aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The event took place on the 2nd April, 2024.

The occasion was graced by eminent personalities from academia with Prof. Dr. Niranjana Vanalli, Vice Chancellor of BNU, as the Esteemed Chief Guest. Joining him were the Office Bearers of BNUTCCM Dr. S. Muralidhar, President of BNUTCCM, along with Dr. Ashwathanarayana T.

Presiding over the event were Rev. Fr. Gilbert Mascarenhas, Director SVPC, Dr. E. Jerome Xavier,  Principal SVPC & Rev. Fr. Joswalt, Financial Administrator SVPC.

Dr. Niranjana Vanalli, in his address, shared insightful perspectives on the importance of Curriculum Design and encouraged the attending faculty members with words of wisdom, emphasizing the pivotal role of passion in teaching.

The programme featured technical sessions meticulously crafted to cover a spectrum of courses, offering invaluable insights and updates to the faculty members. The sessions were facilitated by experiencial & well versed resource persons specializing in various fields of Commerce & Management:

The sessions were designed to equip the faculty members with updated knowledge and practical insights into the curriculum, ensuring effective dissemination of education in accordance with contemporary standards.

The participation of faculty members from various colleges enriched the discussions, fostering an environment of collaborative learning and knowledge exchange.

Overall, the Orientation Programme proved to be a resounding success, offering a platform for professional development and networking among academia and reinforcing the commitment towards quality education and innovation in teaching methodologies.
