The Faculty Development Program was organized by St. Vincent Pallotti College in association with IQAC under Xavier Board of Higher Education on the topic of Andragogy, Facilitation, and Understanding Millennials. Mrs. Hima Bindu, Freelance Trainer Cum Analyst, was the resource person for the day. Mrs. Hima Bindu started the session by dividing the faculties into 6 groups. The main topics discussed were: appreciating and analyzing learners; andragogy vs. pedagogy; and apprehending facilitation styles. As these topics were discussed by the learners, she made the faculties take part in the interesting activities. It was a fun-filled session that shared many insights, which made us reflect on the faculty’s teaching methodology.
