The I Semester BBA students went on an industrial visit to the TVS Motor Co., Ltd., Hosur Plant on Thursday, November 24, 2022 .The students were shown the operation of the plant’s assembly line, which included approximately 32 processes. TVS Motors’ unique production system was briefly introduced. Students at TVS learned about the manufacturing process and management, as well as marketing and human resource management strategies. They comprehended the technical aspects of producing scooters and mopeds of various designs and qualities, as well as the operation of all the machinery utilized in production. Students also gathered information on the company’s efforts to improve productivity, reduce costs, and innovate new products. They learned about the safety regulations and practices that are in place. The students also inquired about and solved their queries in discussion with the technical staff and managers. Overall, the visit was a new learning experience.
