The St. Vincent Pallotti College Library proudly celebrated Librarians’ Day on 12th August 2025 to Honour Dr. S.R. Rangantahan, on his birth anniversary, The Father of Library Science in India. As part of the celebrations, a Library Book Exhibition was organised. It was  inaugurated by Director Rev. Fr. Ralph Besterwitch SAC

Adding to the significance of the day, two new sections were formally opened:

Fiction Section – inaugurated by Rev.Fr.Dr.Marvin Paul Frank SAC
Religious Section – inaugurated by Rev. Fr. William Dcunha SAC

The event marked a memorable milestone in the library’s journey, enriching resources and services for all readers.
