On 15th August 2024, the Student Welfare Office organized a distinguished Independence Day celebration. The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr Roque Gonsalves, provincial, ABVM province, Bangalore, Rev. Fr. Anthonyswamy, Director of the Assumption House,Rev. Fr. Manohar, Mission Secretary, ABVM province, Rev. Fr. Gilbert Mascarenhas, the Director, Rev. Fr. Marvin Paul Frank, the Principal, Prof. Sushmashree S.P., the Vice Principal, and Rev. Fr. William D’Cunha, PU Principal.

 

The Chief Guest, Major M. Murugan, delivered a compelling speech, emphasizing the importance of self-discipline, national respect, and the vital role of teachers in shaping the future. The celebration began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, followed by a captivating NCC parade. The day also featured a series of cultural performances, celebrating the nation’s diverse heritage.
